From the quirkiness and sometimes squeakiness of the 90 year old cottage, along with the surrounding 33 acres with 241 more equally charming and unique cottages, it is the ideal place to leave the stressors of everyday life and routines behind, to relax under the tree cover of Mt. Gretna, Pennsylvania’s historic Camp Meeting, established in 1892.
The cottage decor is an eclectic assortment of traditional and antique furnishings combined with a collection of wall hangings, art and assorted other artifacts which somehow found their way here. This cottage is a great retreat for couples and mature guests!

Pillows and Blankets are available in the bedrooms. Linens and towels are provided by the owners in the cleaning fee.

Bathroom 1: First floor half bathroom with vanity and toilet.
Bathroom 2: Upstairs full bathroom with bathtub/shower, vanity, and toilet.
Sorry, there are no laundry facilities at this cottage.
KITCHEN & DINING:
Well-appointed kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, refrigerator, stove/oven, toaster, drip coffee machine with filters, tea kettle, pantry items, and dish sets, silverware, pots and pans, cutting boards, corkscrew, etc. Everything needed to prepare and enjoy meals at the cottage. Room for four around the dining room table, and additional seating for outdoor dining on the porch.
LIVING AREA:
Cozy living room decorated with traditional and antique furnishings, artwork, and artifacts. A couch, two armchairs, and a rocking chair provide space to relax. TV with Comcast cable and streaming services, board games, playing cards, and books.
Large covered porch with hanging lights, ceiling fan, porch swing, comfortable seating, and outdoor dining table for four. Plus, a bistro table for two.
FREE WIFI
HEATING/COOLING – Mini-split units in the living room and each bedroom with dedicated remotes, which can be set for either heating or cooling.
FREE PARKING! There is a space for one compact car at the cottage. However, spaces are available just a short walk from cottage at the parking lot near the playground on 1st Street or the parking lot near Mount Gretna Fire Hall. Additional parking available at Mount Gretna United Methodist Church.
2-night minimum. 10% discount for stays 7 nights
Absolutely no smoking or campfires. All open flame outdoor burning is prohibited except in an approved grill for purposes of cooking.
Charging of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) or plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs) at the cottage is not allowed.

MOUNT GRETNA LAKE & BEACH:
Eight miles of beach and mountain stream-fed lake featuring swimming with floating docks, over-water swings, kayak, canoe, tube & beach chair rentals, play area and snack bar. Beach access not included with cottage rental. The Lake is a popular attraction and has a daily capacity limit. To ensure access during your stay, purchase tickets in advance.

MINIMUM RENTAL AGE:
Penn Realty requires the primary renter to be at least 25 years old at the time of the stay.
QUIET HOURS:
Quiet Hours of 10 PM to 7 AM (Monday – Thursday), and 11 PM to 7 AM (Friday and Saturday) strictly enforced. All of Sunday is a “quiet day.”
